My fourth grader had started at a new school where it became clear she had some pretty big gaps in her math knowledge. Her confidence was low and she didn’t want to participate in class because she felt she was so bad at math compared to her peers. Working with Katie changed all that! Katie made math fun for my daughter in a structured way, and we’ve seen measurable progress in my daughter’s math skills. Best of all, my daughter now believes in herself again, and has found the confidence to participate in class and see that she can be good at math!

We are incredibly grateful to have found Katie as a tutor for our 7-year-old child who has been attending after-school tutoring sessions with her. From the moment we started working with Katie, we could see a remarkable transformation in our child's attitude towards math and reading.
Katie's expertise and passion for teaching are truly commendable. She has a profound knowledge of her subject and, more importantly, knows how to convey it to young learners in an engaging and enjoyable way. Our child used to struggle with math and reading. She found it uninteresting, but Katie managed to turn that around. She has a gift for making learning fun and exciting, which our child eagerly looks forward to in every session.
One of the things we appreciate most about Katie is her excellent communication with us as parents. She keeps us well-informed about our child's progress and the content of their sessions. Katie has also shared different strategies for involving our child in math-related activities at home, which has been incredibly helpful.
What sets Katie apart is her ability to strike a perfect balance between making learning fun and maintaining a structured, goal-oriented approach. Our child's confidence in her math skills has grown tremendously under her guidance, and we couldn't be happier with the results we've seen.
Katie's inventive and engaging teaching methods have not only captured our child's interest but also fostered a genuine love for math. Her dedication to her work and the joy she brings to each session are evident, making her not just a tutor but also a fantastic role model for kids. We wholeheartedly recommend Katie to any parent seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and inspiring tutor for their child's educational journey. We feel fortunate to have her as part of our child's academic development.

Our elementary age son was having some difficulty with math and was clearly not enjoying doing any type of math as it was a struggle. We were lucky to find Katie and are thrilled to see his progress. Katie is incredibly knowledgeable and brings passion and joy to her work. She is highly communicative and provides us with routine updates as to our son’s progress and their work together. She also shows us different ways to engage him in math that he responds well to at home.
Pretty much from the start he was engaged and looking forward to his next math session. He loves his time with Katie as she keeps the work fun and highly engaging, yet structured and on target and she is just fun for kids to be around. My son has grown tremendously since we started working with Katie and is more confident in his math skills. We are grateful we found her!

Katie worked wonderfully with our kids, giving us a full evaluation of where they were. Our kids loved their time with Katie, who had inventive/engaging methods for teaching that made sense and that our kids really responded to. We were very happy with our results!
